Evolv Mat Classes
What should I bring to an evolv mat class ? Our Studios have everything you need. Mats are provided so just yourself and a bottle of water.
Are the classes suitable for beginners? We don’t have a class labeled specifically for beginners, but all our classes are welcoming and adaptable for all levels. If you’re just starting out, we recommend trying our Pilates, Hatha, or Vinyasa Yoga classes—they’re great for building confidence and easing in
How long are the classes? Most of our classes are 45 minutes, with yoga classes lasting an hour. The duration of each class is displayed on the timetable when booking.
Evolv Heated Classes
What is an infared-heated class? Our infrared-heated classes use state-of-the-art no glow infrared heaters to gently warm the body from the inside out. Unlike traditional heating methods, infrared heat promotes better circulation, detoxification, and flexibility while creating a soothing, comfortable environment.
Do I need to bring a towel to heated classes? Yes, all participants will need to bring a towel. We recommend a hot yoga towel to place over the mat during heated classes to help with grip and absorb sweat.
How hot does the studio get for heated classes? The studio is heated to a comfortable temperature of around 26-30C, designed to warm your muscles without feeling overwhelming.
Are heated classes suitable for beginners? Yes! Heated classes can be a great way for beginners to improve flexibility and relax tense muscles. However, we recommend listening to your body, staying hydrated, and taking breaks if needed.
Is there a surcharge for heated classes? Yes, heated classes incur a £3 surcharge, which is added when booking your class. If you’re a member with an existing plan, contact the studio to receive your discount code.
What should I wear to a heated class? We suggest wearing lightweight, breathable clothing that allows you to move comfortably.
Will I sweat a lot in heated classes? Sweating is normal and part of the detoxification benefits of infrared heat. Stay hydrated before, during, and after class to feel your best.
Are the heaters safe? Yes, our infrared heaters are completely safe. They gently warm the body and are designed to mimic the sun’s natural rays, providing a therapeutic effect without harmful UV exposure.
Who shouldn’t attend a heated class? While heated classes are safe and beneficial for most people, they may not be suitable for: •Pregnant individuals •Those with heart conditions or cardiovascular issues. •Individuals with heat sensitivity or medical conditions that can be exacerbated by heat. •Anyone feeling unwell, dehydrated, or recovering from illness. If you’re unsure whether heated classes are right for you, please consult your doctor or contact the studio for guidance.
